CO2 compensation is not the only effort made by Ecomel in order to make its products as ‘green’ as possible. The company has been using environmentally friendly energy for the preparation of its organic dairy produce for many years. Using CO2 compensation and ‘green’ energy, Ecomel is the first dairy business in the Netherlands to contribute in this way to a more sustainable planet. We at Ecomel feel that, as a manufacturer of organic dairy products, the use of such methods is essential. After all, the idea behind organic produce is that it should be as pure and natural as possible.
